Dining Services
Good nutrition supports great learning.
- Packer is an allergen-aware school. We do not offer, serve, or allow peanut, tree nut (almond, brazil nut, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, pine nut, pistachio, walnut), shellfish, or sesame products into our buildings. Allergen information is clearly displayed on our menu screens and on our hot and cold station menu signs.
- Morning snack and daily lunch is provided for all Middle and Upper School students and faculty and staff.
- Our lunch entrees and sides are prepared in-house with fresh ingredients.
- All of our poultry is antibiotic free, our red meats are graded choice or higher, and our ground beef is 80% lean. All of our menu items are trans-fat free.
- If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please feel free to contact Rich Costas, Director of Dining Services, at rcostas@packer.edu.

Sustainable Food Waste Practices
Our committed sustainability team of students, parents, faculty and staff is pleased to share that Packer is part of the Department of Sanitation’s Organics Collection program. Our food waste, and much of our lunchroom-container waste, is composted at McEnroe Farms in upstate New York.
