On Monday, January 17 from 10am to 1:30pm, all Packer families are invited to join us for our annual community workshop in honor of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
This year our event will focus on "Exploring the Intersection of Climate Change and Social Justice". Raising Readers and Woke Kindergarten will be leading activity-based discussions, and Upper School student activists will be featured on our all-school reflection and conversation.
Across our country, MLK Day is meant to bring people together to reflect on issues of justice and peace in our local and global communities, and we hope you will join us at this sixth annual event meant for all ages:

All community members are invited to join us for this virtual session reflecting on the intersection of climate change and social justice and ways of extending the learning from the days sessions into the future. This session will be facilitated by Upper School students leading Environmental Justice work at Packer.
The annual program observing Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday is organized by the Parent Association's Community Service Committee, and the Diversity & Equity Committee in partnership with the Global Learning/Community Engagement office and the Office of D&E.
