Please join your fellow 11th Grade parents for a Parent Talk facilitated by NYC-Parents in Action, an independent, not-for-profit organization that, since 1980, has encouraged communication between parents and children and among parents.
A Parent Talk is an opportunity for you to connect with other parents in your child's grade and discuss common concerns. Your meeting will be spent discussing topics important to and generated by the parents at the meeting. For High School parents, frequently discussed subjects include communication, online activity, dating, curfews, parties, social independence, drugs, and alcohol. Parents in Action facilitators will be there to ensure the conversation takes place in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Please RSVP to Abby Rothschild, firstname.lastname@example.org. If there's a topic you'd like to hear discussed, please include it in your RSVP email, and it will be forwarded to the facilitators in confidence and raised anonymously at the meeting.
Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided. We hope to see you there!
