International Symposium Takes the 10th Grade to Greece and Peru

Every year, the entire 10th Grade class travels internationally as part of Packer's mission to cultivate "empathetic, responsible, globally-minded individuals."

The inaugural International Symposium program was based in Andalucía, Spain. This year, the Class of 2021 has split up to travel across the globe to broaden their knowledge in Peru and Greece.

The program goals of connection, exploration, creativity, fun, and global learning anchor our students' experiences abroad. For nearly two weeks, 10th graders will volunteer with NGO partners and engage with local communities on issues such as education, healthcare, sustainability, and migration.

The Packer Travel Blog gives students an opportunity for real-time reflection on their experiences in our International Symposium programs and also gives you a window into how they are living our school's mission.
