Last fall, students in the Upper School Atmospheric Science class examined the basics of winds, oceans, weather, and climate and how they connect to one another. They discussed global climate change and the role human activity plays therein. Throughout the semester, the students worked in small groups to create websites that would engage and educate middle school-aged students on weather and climate. Each site included investigations, activities, and ideas for science fair projects.
At the end of the term, teams presented their websites to a panel of teachers and a class of Sixth Graders. After careful consideration, the judges selected the website created by Sam ’23, Robel ’23, and Ben ’23 as the winner. Congratulations to the team and the entire class for their incredible work!
