Packer athletes embody the healthy attributes of teamwork, respect, discipline, sportsmanship, collaboration, and a winning attitude.
We offer a competitive athletics program that is designed to complement a Packer education. Our athletics department respects and celebrates inclusion and prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. For all students in Fifth through Twelfth grade, our programs offer the opportunity to compete on a range of Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School teams.
Packer coaches prepare each athlete to compete at their highest level, while instilling a sense of sportsmanship in each student athlete, and preparing the teams and individuals to execute effectively. As mentors on and off the field, Packer athletes commit to a common goal of modeling excellence by imparting the genuine philosophy of character, civility, competence, and citizenship (the 4 Cs).
The Packer Pelicans regularly reach the season, tournament, and state championships in numerous different sports. In the 2017-18 year, we took home 23 championships and had 8 undefeated ACIS seasons. Ten different teams competed in NYSAIS tournaments, including Ethan Ng '18, who was the NYSAIS golf champion.
We compete in several leagues, including Athletic Association of Independent Schools (AAIS), Athletic Conference of Independent Schools (ACIS), and the New York State Association of Independent Schools Athletic Association (NYSAIS).
Since 2007, Packer Athletes have captured 78 AAIS and ACIS League and Tournament Championships. Explore our full championship history, our school records, and more.....Explore our championship history, our school records, and more.
