"From Block to Borough: Defining Home in NYC" was conceptualized, researched, and designed entirely by Packer’s student curatorial team. Featuring work by artists Felipe Galin-do, James Prochnik, Lady Pink, Liza Kanae-va-Hunsicker, and Na'ye Perez, this curation explores how so many distinct groups and people find meaningful belonging in the city we call home. The student curators “invite viewers to consider how finding belonging in New York can foster self-expression and individuality while simultaneously pondering the ways in which the idea of shared belonging might be able to foster large-scale unity in our home city. We also invite viewers to consider how this theme of belonging in NYC impacts the Packer community.”
