Dora Somosi: "She Was A Little Bit Blue"
From floor to ceiling, artist Dora Somosi transformed the Carol Shen Gallery into a space heaving with texture, shape, and color, glorious color. As part of our Art Department's nature series, the exhibit—a meditation on the color blue and the natural world—showcased Somosi’s current landscape photography practice using the historic cyanotype process alongside interactive and fantastical installations, curated by Michael Miller, Digital Video Teacher. Inspiration calls from the spectacular imagery, carefully selected quotes and the poetry activity co-designed by Dora’s daughters, Packer students Amelia '25 and Margaux '27.
