On June 19, alumna Ruth Browne ’77 was awarded the Woman of Achievement Award at the annual Women In Development New York luncheon. She was honored for her work as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House New York (RMHNY), which provides resources and shelter for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Women in Development New York fosters community and professional growth for women working in the non-profit and development sectors, and presents their annual Woman of Achievement Award to honor the recipient's contributions to the non-profit sector and society.
We are so excited to be able to call Ruth a Packer alumna! Read a recent interview with Ruth in Sanctuary magazine to learn more about her work with RMHNY — and an interview by Jamillah Hoy-Rosas ’94, previously featured in the Summer 2017 Packer Magazine.
