Physics Teacher Upper School (SY 2020-21 Tentative)

The Packer Collegiate Institute seeks an energetic individual to teach Upper School Physics. Candidates should have a strong and diverse background in science, and enthusiasm for working with high school students. The position will include teaching Physics as part of a team of dedicated and committed science teachers. The focus of the Science Department is on interactive, experiential learning and depth of understanding rather than breadth of coverage.  Packer is a Physics First school, so experience teaching 9th grade physics is a plus.

The successful candidate should be committed to regular and ongoing collaboration with colleagues, curriculum development, and his/her own continued professional development. As Packer is a fully integrated laptop school, extensive experience with the use of computers and computer-based probes is strongly desired.
