Campus and Facilities
Packer is just steps from the Borough Hall subway station and one stop from Wall Street. Families come from far and wide to be a part of the Packer community.
Packer has been located at 170 Joralemon Street since our founding nearly 175 years ago. Since then, we have expanded many times to accommodate our program and our student body. Carefully maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity, the campus now includes six interconnected buildings. Read more about Packer's architectural history.
At the heart of our campus is the Packer Garden, a unique outdoor space in the midst of a thoroughly urban setting. The Packer Early Learning Center, which houses our PreK and Kindergarten program, is just one block north at 100 Clinton Street.
Brooklyn Crossroads
Our school is located at the crossroads of three distinctive neighborhoods: Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, and Cobble Hill. The area offers museums, parks, harbor views, a range of cuisine, and the convenience of accessible mass transit to Manhattan as well as points farther into Brooklyn, such as BAM, Barclays Center, and Prospect Park. Walking-distance destinations include the Brooklyn Promenade and Dumbo.
