Lower School Winter Sing

Lower School parents were treated to an assembly of the entire Lower School at the annual Winter Sing on Thursday, December 16th, 2004 in the Chapel. The program consisted of a variety of traditional and multi-faith seasonal and holiday songs.

"The Winter Sing is a concerted effort by everyone involved - the teachers, the administration, the maintenance staff, and the hard work of the children," said Frances Onne-Fong, Lower School music teacher and coordinator of the Winter Sing.

"[Parents] used words like calm, challenging, focused, inspiring, and beautiful," when describing the Winter Sing, said Carol Schulhof, Head of the Lower School.

Ms. Onne-Fong also expressed special thanks to Jennifer Devore and Tom Stevens for their work teaching the fourth graders to play "Ode To Joy" on cellos and violins.
