One of my favorite things about Packer is the way that students from different divisions engage with each other. I love that they even have the opportunity to do so through activities in the curriculum that facilitate reaching outside their normal circles of interaction.
Describe a favorite or memorable moment during your time at Packer.
A memorable moment that stood out while at Packer happened recently. After Hurricane Maria there was a tremendous outpouring of support and love in getting help to the people of Puerto Rico, including my brother's family who relocated here in Brooklyn. There are simply no words that can express my gratitude toward the Packer community.
Name a work of art, literature, music, or film that you hold dear and explain its influence on you.
I have been tremendously influenced and inspired by the books and biography of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Every so often I reread them to remind myself that there is nothing you can't achieve if you work hard and put your mind to it.
What is something that most Packer people wouldn't know about you?
During my high school and college years, I used to sing and perform in local theaters and churches in Puerto Rico. Music has always been an intrinsic part of who I am.
