My favorite thing about Packer is that the school trusts the different departments to create their own curricula. Within reasonable boundaries, we get to chose what and how we want to teach, which creates a stimulating and collaborative working environment.
Describe a favorite or memorable moment in your classroom at Packer.
My favorite moments are the times my students take charge of the class and have insightful discussions about a topic or problem, with me observing their discourse on the sidelines.
Name a book/artwork/piece of music that changed your life and explain how.
Listening to Oscar Peterson was my first exposure to jazz and that opened the door to people like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, etc.
What is something that most Packer people wouldn't know about you?
