Middle & Upper School Admissions

Admissions procedures at Packer are designed to enable our Admissions Committee to identify students who will thrive in our school environment.  We welcome applications from bright, motivated, creative students who have demonstrated a spirit of positive citizenship.

Our major entry point for new students to the Upper School is ninth grade, and typically, Packer welcomes 25-35 new ninth graders each fall.  As our Middle School begins in grade five, we always have a number of openings for new fifth grade students as well.  Unfortunately, we are only able to offer a few places for students beginning grades six through eight, and occasionally grades ten and eleven.  Space in these grades is subject to attrition, which varies from year to year.  We generally do not accept applications for grade twelve.

Please note that all Middle School interviews must be completed before the holiday break in December.
